CPDE 2022 will be hosted at Kiel University in Kiel, Germany. Kiel University, founded 1665 by Christian Albrecht Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf, is the only fully-fledged university in Schleswig-Holstein with 27,000 students and over 2,000 scientists and scholars. The university is organized in 8 Faculties and 4 priority research areas, i.e., Marine Science, Life Science, Societal, Environmental and Cultural Change, and Nano Surface & Interface Science.
CPDE 2022 will take place in the building OS 75, Olshausenstr. 75, 24118 Kiel located main campus of Kiel University, see map below.

Traveling to Kiel
Kiel can be reached in different ways:
- By train using the Deutsche Bahn (DB), Station Kiel Hauptbahnhof
- By plane via Hamburg Airport followed by a transfer to Kiel using the Kielius (bus to Kiel Main Station) or the Kielexx (shuttle bus to your final destination in Kiel). In addition Kiel can be reached from any other airport by train.
In Kiel public transport bus bus is available. For routes and schedule please consult Nah.SH. The closest bus stops to reach the conference venue are Leibnizstraße or Kiel Bremerskamp.
